I have not blogged for ages and ages. I think I kind of lost the motivation for a while. However, yesterday at GSA we received a talk by Lauren Currie also known as Redjotter and she has inspired me to give blogging another go! I recognised Lauren when she came in, and realised that she was actually in my year at Duncan of Jordanstone. She has achieved so much since graduating form both DOJ and GSA and it really does prove that it pays to persevere with promoting yourself! So here goes...
I thought I would re-introduce myself... I am Katherine and am currently studying at Glasgow School of Art on the Masters in Fashion and Textiles course. So far I am absolutely loving the course, it is pretty much perfect for me! After graduating from my undergraduate Textiles course at Duncan of Jordanstone in 2008, I took part in an internship with fashion designers BLESS for just over 3 months and when i came back to Scotland I was desperate to move to Glasgow. I really love Glasgow I call it home now!
So I will hopefully be updating you all on here with my ideas and news... I have added a picture of something I worked on last week on my mannequin in the studio. I think I will work form home today as I am finding that I have a serious issue with inappropriate shows for snow!
